Once again the Freehold
Boro Police Department is hosting the National Night Out
event to take place on Tuesday August 5th from 6:00 p.m.
to 9:00 p.m. in the Hall of Records Annex Parking lot.
As with previous years,
DJ entertainment will be provided by Odyssey
Entertainment, and we are once again going to have
exhibits from the Fire Department, the First Aid Squad,
and of course the Freehold Borough Police Department.
The event will feature
a variety of rides supplied by
Amazing Amusements from Marlboro, and they will
feature blow-up obstacle courses, moon walks and a
carnival swing-type ride. They will also be bringing
other activities including spin art where the kids can
take home a souvenir from the event.
We also have the pony
rides back again for a third year as they continue to be
a big hit with the kids and they are being provided by
Ponies4yourparty.
Additionally, two face
painters are being sponsored by the optimist club and
will be there to give the kids another great way to
celebrate the night.
Finally, the Police
Department will be there to show children and families
alike police cars and some of our other equipment.
We'll also be handing out popcorn donated by
Party Towne and little prizes for the kids including
balloons with the helium tank being donated by
Party Fair.
The event is free of
charge for everything except hot dogs which will be
served by the Freehold First Aid Squad Auxiliary as a
fundraiser for the First Aid Squad.
