FBPD Launches
Confidential Tip line

In an effort to combat crime more effectively, the Freehold Borough Police Department has launched a 24-hour confidential tip line.  Citizens who have information which may help an investigation now have a means of sharing the information with the police department without having to reveal their identities.

"We expect that this tip line will help us with some old investigations as well as giving us leads to crimes that have not yet been reported" said Detective Sergeant Timothy Jablonski, one of the architects of the program.

The number for the tip line is (732) 431-0420.

"This line can be used for everything from tips on drug dealers to quality of life complaints" added Jablonski.

When using the tipline, callers should try and provide as much information as possible including dates, times, descriptions, etc.
