Police Department

On Monday, September
21st much of our department along with family and
friends assembled at Borough Hall to help two of our
officers celebrate promotions.
Sgt. Craig Dispenza was
promoted to lieutenant.
Craig joined the
department in 1990 and has nineteen years on the job as
a Freehold Borough Officer. As a sergeant, Craig
served as the DWI coordinator, Bike Patrol unit
supervisor, and was the liaison to the Memorial Day
Parade Committee. Craig also served as our
department's D.A.R.E. officer and represented our agency
to several local organizations.
Ptl. Ronnie R. Steppat
Jr. was promoted to the rank of sergeant.
Ronnie joined the
department in 2000 and has nine years as a Freehold
Borough Officer. Ronnie was born and raised in
Freehold, and came up through the Borough school system.
He was also a D.A.R.E. officer and served on several
town committees as a representative of the police
department. Ronnie also assists with obtaining
grants and serves as one of the coordinators of the
Freehold Borough Youth Police Academy.
Both are exceptional
officers, and we wish the best of luck to them in their
news jobs.
